What is VideoVet? VideoVet produces high quality surgery video of a wide variety of surgical procedures. Our main purpose was to provide veterinarians access to video of surgical procedures commonly performed in practice. The majority of procedures were performed on clinical cases thereby allowing veterinarians to ‘see’ the procedure before they perform it.
VideoVet Mission Statement Teach veterinarians practical surgical techniques using video of clinical case material.
Why Video of Surgical Techniques? If you are scheduling a procedure you have never done or haven’t done recently you can open your Surgery Video library, select the technique from the menu, and watch a specialist perform and talk you through the procedure! Procedures are 5-8 minutes long and most are performed on clinical patients. In emergency situations this format allows you to view the selected procedure minutes before performing it. Surgery Videos can be a valuable addition to your practice library.
Who Authors the Surgery Video’s? Board certified surgery specialists author each Surgery Video. Each surgery procedure includes voice-over to help you better understand details about the technique.
Can I get CE Credits after Viewing the Surgery Videos? Yes! Nine Surgery Videos are approved for 4 hours of CE credit each. Simply order one (or more) of the approved Surgery Videos, view all video content, answer the questions on the included multiple choice exam, email the exam to VideoVet ([email protected] ) and if you score 70% or higher VideoVet will email you a certificate for 4 hours of approved CE credit*.
