Welcome to VideoVet!
VideoVet was created to provide a video format to deliver educational content specifically focused on a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures in dogs and cats. We have always believed in the saying ‘see-one, do-one, teach-one’ especially when it pertains to a technical skill. Veterinarians in practice do not generally have the ‘see-one’ available prior to performing a new or uncommonly preformed surgical procedure. VideoVet Surgery Videos now provide a means to fill that important void……..you can now ‘see-one’ before you ‘do-one’! In addition, a Board Certified surgeon will talk you through the procedure! We believe many veterinary practices would find this video content useful to have in their practice library.
What Video Formats are Available?
VideoVet originally relied on a DVD format for content delivery. However, in this ‘digital’ world, we are recommending alternate formats as they tend to be much more user friendly and are compatible with a wider variety of devices.
We currently have 4 formats available for you to consider before ordering:
Online Viewing
Select an Online-On-Demand video format. This option gives you unlimited access to view video content anytime in the future. You will be given to a unique VideoVet account that includes a login and password for access to purchased Surgery Video content. With this format Surgery Video content is not downloadable. This format is recommended for international sales as shipping time and cost as well as potential Customs delays are avoided.
Web Transfer
Select web transfer to order your surgery video content (mp4). You will receive an email message containing information to access your purchase. You will be able to download your video for use on multiple devices. This format is recommended for international sales as shipping time and cost as well as potential Customs delays are avoided.
USB Flash Drive
Select a USB flash drive (mp4 format). Selected Surgery Videos will be uploaded to a VideoVet USB flash drive and mailed to you within 5 business days. Delivery time depends on your location. This format is not recommended for international sales as shipping times can be up to 6 weeks or more depending on location and potential Customs delays.
DVD
Select a DVD format. VideoVet DVD’s are compatible with PC and MacIntosh computers and all country region codes. With many new computers you will require a DVD drive and player to access video content. VideoVet DVD’s will be shipped to you within 5 business days. Delivery time depends on your location. This format is not recommended for international sales as shipping times can be up
